A MOMENT OF SILENCE AT THE GRAVE OF ED GEIN

Leaving a decisive imprint on popular culture to this day, the bizarre case of Edward Gein shocked the American nation at the end of the 50’s. Films such as PSYCHO, THE TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE and THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS are based on the acts perpetrated by the tomb raider with the oedipal complex.

In July 2012, Jörg Buttgereit visited the scene of the crime, i.e. the cemetery of Plainfield in Wisconsin. The body of Ed Gein rests at an unmarked place between his beloved mother Augusta and his brother Henry.
