TOMORROW I WILL BE DIRT is the name of the new short film by British artist Robert Morgan. It is an authorised, surrealistic 10 minute animation sequel to Jörg Buttgereit’s 1993 film SCHRAMM, commissioned by Arrow Films. The film is venturing beyond the character’s death into nightmarishly uncharted territory, told through the filmmaker’s singular stop-motion brilliance.
The world premiere was at the 23rd of March 2019 at the Offscreen Festival in Brussels. More screenings on festivals will follow. TOMORROW I WILL BE DIRT is also included in the upcoming boxed set of SCHRAMM from Arrow Video in the UK.
