Arrow Video veröffentlicht am 27. August 2024 in England und USA die limitierte Box MEMENTO MORI: THE JÖRG BUTTGEREIT COLLECTION.

Auf 5 Blu-rays werden die Filme NEKROMANTIK, DER TODESKING, NEKROMANTIK 2 – DIE RÜCKKEHR DER LIEBENDEN TOTEN, SCHRAMM und HOT LOVE sowie zahlreiche Extras und Kurzfilme präsentiert. Die Filme haben deutschen Ton und optionale englische Untertitel. Auf einer exklusiven Bonus Disc ist erstmals auch die Verwesungstudie SCHWEINCHEN (2020) mit Mark Benecke sowie bisher unveröffentlichte Kurzfilme wie DIE MUSCHIBÄRS (1981) zu sehen. Außerdem beinhaltet die Box ein 100-seitiges Hardcoverbuch mit Texten von David Kerekes und das Comic SON OF NEKROMANTIK.

The 5-DISC LIMITED EDITION BLU-RAY boxset MEMENTO MORI: THE JÖRG BUTTGEREIT COLLECTION is available in August 2024 from Arrow Video in USA and UK. The box presents High Definition Blu-ray (1080p) presentation of all films with optional English subtitles.
The Limited edition packaging incorporates an exclusive, 100-page rigid book featuring new writing by David Kerekes, author of the book Sex Murder Art: The Films of Jörg Buttgereit, a selection of archival essays and the colour debut of the Nekromantik comic book sequel, Son of Nekromantik. The exclusive bonus disc contains the extended cut of Nekromantik 2, the home video premiere of the 2020 Jörg Buttgereit-directed documentary short Schweinchen, recently-unearthed short films and more!

Controversial, crazy, shocking, disturbing. Using any of those words to describe director Jörg Buttgereits output would be putting it mildly! Over the years, the Berlin based filmmaker has created some of the genres most graphic and twisted films and cemented his reputation as one of cult cinemas grisliest auteurs.

The 4-Disc Special Edition contents: High Definition Blu-ray presentations of four feature films by Jörg Buttgereit: NEKROMANTIK, DER TODESKING, NEKROMANTIK 2 and SCHRAMM. Early Buttgereit short films: HOT LOVE (1985), HORROR HEAVEN (1984), DER GOLLOB (1983), BLUTIGE EXZESSE IM FÜHRERBUNKER (1982), A MOMENT OF SILENCE AT THE GRAVE OF ED GEIN (2012), MEIN PAPI (1981-95) and TOMORROW I WILL BE DIRT (2019), the animated short sequel to SCHRAMM. All films are in German language with optional English subtitles. Plus many hours of extras and Special Edition packaging featuring new artwork by Gilles Vranckx and reversible sleeves featuring artwork by Godmachine and Vranckx.
